Help us build our booking platform by connecting with local parenting communities in the Alpharetta / Johns Creek area.
What is Makeroni?
Makeroni is a platform where users can discover and easily book classes and activities for kids and families. This is a brand new platform, and we are launching in Alpharetta and Johns Creek in the next few months.
About the Role
You'll help grow our platform by building relationships with local studios and businesses and spreading the word to local families. Makeroni will pay for you (and your kids, if applicable) to attend classes at studios in the area so you can make connections and bring them into the Makeroni platform.
This role combines community engagement, light sales, and local networking.
We're building this role together, so we are looking for someone who is motivated and wants to develop the launch process alongside us.
Responsibilities
Local Networking
- Create lists of target studios to onboard and build out their free profiles on our platform
- Build relationships with local studios offering kids' classes (dance, play, art, music, etc.)
- Introduce studios to our platform and help them get set up
- Attend local school events, PTA activities, and community gatherings when relevant
Platform Growth
- Find and help onboard studios to our platform
- Encourage users to sign up and use the platform
- Give feedback on the look/feel and functionality of the platform as needed
Sales Process Development
- Help create outreach messaging and scripts
- Provide feedback on what resonates with local parents and studios
Consulting
- Help our team understand the target demographic
- Advise our team on features, expansion plans, and platform updates
Compensation
- Base Pay: $25/hour
- Up to 10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Hours must be tracked
- Bonuses for: studio signups, user signups, and sponsorship deals secured (earn up to $2,000/mo+ additional income for performance while working part-time)
Ideal Candidate

- Are deeply connected to the parenting community in Alpharetta or Johns Creek
- Are already active in local parent groups or school communities
- Love discovering and sharing local activities, classes, and family experiences
- Are comfortable talking to local businesses and building relationships
- Have some sales, marketing, or networking experience (not required but helpful)
- Are organized and able to track your time and results
