Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the Makeroni platform ("Platform"), operated by Makeroni ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website at makeroni.co and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Makeroni is a marketplace that connects users ("Customers") with creative studios, instructors, and event spaces ("Studios") for the purpose of discovering, booking, and attending creative classes, private lessons, and private events. Makeroni acts as an intermediary and is not itself a provider of classes, lessons, or event spaces.

You must create an account to book classes or access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor.

Credits. Makeroni uses a credit-based system. Credits can be purchased individually or through subscription plans. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Expiration. Credits expire 60 days after the date they are granted, unless otherwise specified. Expired credits cannot be reinstated.

Subscriptions. Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for the remaining portion of a billing cycle.

Pricing. All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, with reasonable notice for active subscribers.

Bookings. When you book a class, credits are deducted immediately. A booking confirmation will be sent to you via email and/or SMS.

Cancellations by Customers. Cancellation policies are set by each individual Studio. If you cancel within the Studio's specified cancellation window, your credits will be refunded. Cancellations made after the window has closed are non-refundable. Please review the Studio's cancellation policy before booking.

Cancellations by Studios. Studios may cancel a class at any time. If a Studio cancels, your credits will be fully refunded automatically.

No-Shows. If you fail to attend a booked class without cancelling in advance, no credit refund will be issued.

Lead Requests. When you submit a request for a private lesson or private event, your contact information may be shared with the Studio after they accept the lead and complete payment. Makeroni does not guarantee that any Studio will accept your request.

Studio Lead Fees. Studios are charged a lead fee upon accepting a private lesson or event request. This fee is non-refundable once charged.

Direct Arrangements. Once connected, the terms of the private lesson or event (pricing, scheduling, cancellations) are between you and the Studio. Makeroni is not a party to those arrangements.

Listing Accuracy. Studios are responsible for the accuracy of all information in their listings, including class descriptions, pricing, availability, images, and policies.

Commission. Makeroni charges Studios a commission on each booking. The commission rate is based on the number of active classes a Studio has listed. Specific rates are communicated during onboarding.

Payouts. Studio payouts are processed on a regular schedule. Payout amounts reflect the class price minus Makeroni's commission. Payouts are made via Stripe Connect to the Studio's connected bank account.

Content License. By listing on Makeroni, Studios grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote their listing content (including images, descriptions, and studio name) for marketing and platform purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, Studios, or instructors
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content, including reviews
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or credits
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform's operation
• Share contact information in lead requests for the purpose of bypassing Makeroni's lead system

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Users may leave reviews for classes and Studios. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.

By submitting content (reviews, messages, images), you grant Makeroni a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are owned by Makeroni or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Makeroni makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, or legality of classes, Studios, or event spaces listed on the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing information.

Makeroni is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in any class, lesson, or event booked through the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Makeroni's total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Makeroni in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Makeroni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Makeroni, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Atlanta, Georgia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
